The 1930s are a Northern Irish folk duo made up of vocalist and guitarist, Jonny Solari and drummer and vocalist, Andrew Cameron. The lads have taken the UK scene by storm, captivating crowds with their edgy brand of folk rock, infectious melodies and fixating harmonies. The band have showcased their talents by appearing on BBC NI television and BBC radio 1 introducing, as well as other radio stations across the UK.
In their live show, The 1930s have plenty to offer, sometimes hauling in a full band of their musician friends, other times performing an intimate, acoustic show. Having completed several UK tours, and played in high profile shows alongside acts such as ‘The Staves’, ‘Duke Special’ and ‘Matt Corby’, The 1930s have their sights set on big things!
The band have recently released part one of the ‘Blood & Water’ EP series, which is available on iTunes, Bandcamp and Spotify, and are currently writing and recording for the next installment.
